Pastor Jeremy Freeman was born and raised in the small Iowa town of West Liberty. He is the youngest of four boys. After he graduated from West Liberty High School, he attended the University of Northern Iowa, where he received a BA in Religious Studies and a minor in Music.
While attending UNI, he met his future wife, Nikki. The two were married in August of 2002.
He graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, in May of 2007 and served as the Associate Pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sedalia until July of 2011, when he became the sole Pastor.
He enjoys music, the outdoors, coin collecting, and curling.
Janice M. Kunze-Hoos was born in Boonville, Missouri. She attended grade school in Marshall, Missouri, then moved to Sedalia and graduated from Smith-Cotton High School. She has worked at Flat Creek Inn from 1967 to 1969, Mutual of Omaha (1976-1986), First State Savings (1986-1988), Edwards Fiberglass, Inc. (1988-2010). She came to work at St. Paul’s in 2010.
She has two children: Kimberly (Kim) Karigan and Andrew (Andy) Hoos. They and their spouses have blessed her with six grandchildren.
