How truly important God’s Word is for His people. According to 2 Timothy, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” But more than that, God’s Word assures us of the forgiveness and salvation that Christ has won for us on the cross.
In light of this, St. Paul’s wants to encourage its people to be in the Scriptures often. To this end, we offer several Bible studies throughout the week:
Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study
This study meets in the school gymnasium on Sunday morning after worship. Led by Pastor Freeman, we are currently working through Concordia Publishing House's three-year study entitled "Enduring Faith". We are in year 2.
Saturday Morning Adult Bible Study
This study meets at 10:00am on the first Saturday of each month out at Cedarhurst. We are working through the book of Colossians. THIS STUDY IS POSTPONED UNTIL CEDARHURST OPENS TO THE PUBLIC
Monday Evening Women's Bible Study
This study meets at 6:30pm every other Monday (check the calendar for exact dates) out at Cedarhurst. We are currently working through the book of Luke. THIS STUDY IS POSTPONED UNTIL CEDARHURST OPENS TO THE PUBLIC
Thursday Morning Men’s Bible Class
Pastor Freeman leads this study for men. We start in the church basement every Thursday at 7:00 for breakfast, then move on to our study. We are currently in Job.
